Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director as well as a producer, playwright, and educator in St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, being the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her plays as a child and observing her mother doing her job. When she was a girl, she appeared in commercials of various kinds. Anna moved to Toronto, Ontario, in order to pursue acting. The decade following, she made the move into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009, after they got married. Anna has since converted to Judaism by then and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton.
