Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. She grew up with big dreams. Her greatest roles are the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the drama Precious. Her family was a middle class one in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Instilling a passion for film within her daughter was a skill that was a gift from her mother, who was also a fan of movies. Paula was a part of co-curricular school activities, and she was especially interested in acting. She was a huge fan of acting with her classmates and took part in her school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actor decided that acting was her preferred career. In a summer program at the University of Southern California, she had a blast there. The program awarded her a 3-month contract producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. After completing the task, she began becoming an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. The next thing she did was produce documentaries. While she was happy with her work but she always dreamed of being an actor. Her career began in acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star on love story Hitch. Since then she has appeared in a variety of film and TV shows.
