Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived with 12 other kids. Her vivid imagination enabled her to escape life's harsh reality. life. The show ended after 1974 because her solo albums like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene had begun charting their collaborative efforts.
